You provide administrative support on the Property Search initiative, in conjunction with assisting the Building Assessment Team which is part of the Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) Division. The team reviews and assesses applications for eligibility from building practitioners and insurance for specific projects.Property Search initiative aims to make DBI information more easily accessible, enhance consumer protections for Victorians and optimise VMIA's role in preventing harm in the Victorian community.

Your role You provide administrative support on the Property Search initiative, in conjunction with assisting the Building Assessment Team which is part of the Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) Division. The team reviews and assesses applications for eligibility from building practitioners and insurance for specific projects.
Property Search initiative aims to make DBI information more easily accessible, enhance consumer protections for Victorians and optimise VMIA's role in preventing harm in the Victorian community.
What you do Quickly fix any address changes that our preferred partner finds during the technical pilot. These changes might be due to local government boundaries or sub-divisions.Management of feedback and actions to deliver excellent customer experience to promote repeat and expanded searches.Resolving customer enquiries about policies or claims provided to Conveyancers or Property Buyers or Sellers separate from DBI resources.Promptly rectify data to improve the experience for future searches and encourage repeat customers to use our service more often in the early stages.You are our 'go to' Property Search specialist using the appropriate systems and processes to undertake required searches in an accurate and timely manner.Contributing to building a long-term relationship with our preferred partner for Property Search.You manage and respond to our preferred partner raised incidents.Your initial focus will be to resolve the historical address exceptions.Developing the appropriate reports to support understanding of the current sales of Property Search.You provide administrative support to resolve Property Search incidents and exceptions working closely with the DBI team.You liaise with clients such as builders, VMIA's DBI Distributors, building surveyors, property owners, and conveyancers to resolve Property address exceptions.You are accountable for supporting Property Search and for the management to resolution of all incidents and issues that may arise from time to time. Determining and ensuring all high priority or sensitive incidents are resolved first.The administrator will also resolve any data issues where a conveyancer or customer requests clarity on the information supplied. For example, the customer may believe there has been a claim, and it is not shown.Conduct root cause analysis of problems, and research and recommend solutions to stop or minimise problems reoccurring.You support the amendments of process documents for the Property Search to ensure a consistent process is in place. Ensure all Property Search documentation is current.Provide training on Property Search to other team members.Who you work with You report to the Property Search Product Manager, DBI in the Domestic Building Insurance Division.Members of the Building Assessment and Claims Teams.Provide support to the DBI Product Manager on business improvement to enhance Property Search capability to service our customers.You build relationships with key Stakeholders within our preferred partner, who are our primary channel to market.About you You must have proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.You have excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills, with experience working with a broad variety of people.You have demonstrated administrative and analytical skills.You have strong time management, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.You have a strong service orientation and ability to interpret client needs to provide high levels of service delivery and outcomes. There are many reasons to work at VMIA, here is how we will support you:
