Our Property Operations team is currently looking for an experienced Fitter.
As a Fitter, you are responsible for ensuring Plant and Equipment is functioning in a manner that is in accordance with manufacturer requirements.
Duties may include working in various locations on site including the kitchens and our inhouse Laundry.
A few of your responsibilities: Perform specialised trades maintenance throughout The Star property as per triaged Maximo log Maintain inventory of tools, materials and equipment Support other trade technicians in the team with their respective work Trouble shoot and provide expert advice in the event of incidents that occur on equipment What are we looking for: Engineering trade certification with relevant experience Previous experience with repair and maintenance of commercial processing plant and equipment A customer first approach, with a positive disposition A good understanding of Food Safety legislation and community safety Experience with Stainless Steel Welding and Fabrication (highly regarded) Previous experience in the maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment (highly regarded) A valid Gas Work Licence (Type A& B) (highly regarded) Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster About you: You will be passionate about demonstrating effective trade skills, as your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our property operations team at The Star Gold Coast.
