Our client is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Property Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in property management, with full training and support provided. In this role, you'll assist Senior Property Managers in managing a residential portfolio, giving you the chance to develop valuable skills in the real estate industry.Key Responsibilities: Assist Senior Property Managers in managing a diverse residential portfolio.Conduct inspections, including open for inspections, routine inspections, and in-going inspections, ensuring properties are well-maintained.Provide feedback to landlords after inspections and communicate property conditions.Process rental applications, assist with signing up new tenants, and explain requirements under the relevant legislation.Guide tenants through the rental process and ensure clear communication regarding tenancy agreements.Oversee maintenance by arranging and following up on repairs to ensure timely completion.Collaborate with an arrears manager and virtual assistant to manage lease renewals and ensure smooth operations.The Ideal Candidate:Confidence and professionalism when dealing with tenants and landlords.Ability to handle conflict resolution effectively and maintain strong relationships with tenants and landlords.A current Certificate of Registration (COR) or a Class 2 licence (or willingness to obtain one immediately).A valid driver's licence and reliable transport.No previous experience required – we are willing to train the right candidate!
