25 days ago, from Goal Indigenous ServicesGoal Indigenous Services are seeking a Property Officer to manage a diverse portfolio of owned and leased commercial and residential properties located across urban and remote communities.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage residential and head leases, including inspections, receipting, and refunding of bonds.Oversee property/facility contracts, including scope definition, negotiations, and letting.Liaise with contractors, coordinating repairs and maintenance, ensuring all asset management activities are recorded accurately.Assist with insurance claims, investigations, and reporting, and manage risk and asset benchmarking activities.Provide property management advice, including recommendations for asset use, facilities management, and office space allocation.Implement WHS regulations, ensuring all legal obligations are met.Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to support compliance, cooperation, and continuous improvement.Adhere to and promote company values and policies, including a commitment to safety, confidentiality, and high professional standards.Essential Requirements:Previous experience in property management or a similar role.Experience in housing or property management with knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act 1999 (or willingness to acquire).Ability to manage competing priorities, working in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.Demonstrated experience in interpreting legislation, regulations, lease and contract negotiation, and property management.Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively.Current C Class Driver's License and the ability to undertake remote travel in a 4WD vehicle or light aircraft.Desirable Requirements:Understanding of the lived experiences of Aboriginal people in the region.Experience in project management, particularly in remote locations.Benefits:Opportunity to make a real impact on the management and maintenance of critical property assets across diverse communities.Exclusive access to our benefits platform that offers savings at over 60 major Australian retailers across the country.Collaborative and supportive environment.Apply via Seek link or email your resume to Cecilia at ******
