We are seeking an experienced Property Management Accountant to oversee comprehensive financial reporting and provide essential support to the Real Estate Services and Operations divisions at Investa. This position is responsible for preparing monthly actuals and forecasts, delivering detailed portfolio and property reports with insightful commentary. Additionally, the role includes assisting with budgeting, audits, and statutory reporting processes. Reporting directly to the Head of Property Management Accounting, this position is based in Sydney.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Delivery of the monthly Asset Performance Report, including informative commentary as per monthly timetable Management of budget tasks and timing in accordance with the budget timetable Develop and foster strong business partnering relationships with key contacts Regular monthly meetings and frequent ad-hoc communication with property teams Accurate accruals are posted and revised monthly; outstanding accruals are followed up with the property teams Ensure all required Property balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly Outstanding reconciling items are cleared in a timely manner. What you will need to be successful: Prior Property experience strongly desirable Strong systems experiences and ability to work with multiple system structures Voyager & Yardi system experience advantage Strong interpersonal skills with a positive can-do approach Advanced competency in Excel Strong organisational, planning and detail orientation Qualifications: Commerce or Business degree or relevant tertiary qualification (desirable) 3+ years' experience Why join Investa?
