Exciting Opportunity for a Property Maintenance Coordinator within Local Government! Are you an organised, proactive professional with a knack for coordinating property maintenance activities? This local government organisation is looking for a Property Maintenance Coordinator to join our team and ensure that our property portfolio remains well-maintained, efficient, and in top condition. We have a 12-month contract opportunity for you!
About the Role: As the Property Maintenance Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact for maintenance requests and oversee the planning and execution of property repairs and improvements. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage relationships with contractors, tenants, and internal stakeholders. This role will also see you on occasions visit sites so a current license is required.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule routine and preventive maintenance across multiple properties.Act as the first point of contact for maintenance inquiries and issues.Manage and maintain maintenance logs, records, and documentation.Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely and high-quality work.Monitor maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions.Ensure all work complies with safety and building regulations.Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience in property maintenance coordination or a similar role would be ideal.Strong organisational and multitasking skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Effective communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders.Familiarity with building systems and maintenance processes.Proficiency in relevant software for record-keeping and scheduling.What We Offer: Competitive remuneration and benefits.12 month contract role within a Local Government organisation.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional development and growth.If you're ready to step into a vital role where you can make a meaningful impact in property management, we'd love to hear from you!
