Affinity Education Group (AEG) is seeking a skilled Property and Lease Administrator to manage and oversee a large portfolio of leased properties that support our thriving ECEC businesses.
About the Role
This dynamic position is pivotal in managing our extensive property portfolio.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, you will oversee lease management, facilities coordination, and property-related financial processes with precision and professionalism.
In this role, you'll be central to our property and lease operations, delivering essential administrative support to our centers and ensuring their property and leasing requirements are handled efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities: Managing and maintaining a central lease data repository with accurate updates.Preparing lease offers, board approvals, and property-related documentation.Overseeing lease option renewals, amendments, assignments, and compliance with critical dates.Liaising with landlords on insurance claims, repairs, maintenance, and rent matters.Coordinating repairs, maintenance, and capital expenditures with the Facilities Department and landlords.Providing guidance on lease obligations, cost allocation, and supplier agreements.Assisting with property acquisitions, divestments, and greenfield development projects.Reviewing lease agreements for rent increases, outgoings, and compliance.Investigating charges and analysing rent and outgoing budgets.Collaborating with Finance to reconcile budgets against lease requirementsAbout You
