The Role
If you are an experienced Property lawyer with a passion for customer service and relationship development and want to be at the forefront of revolutionising the conveyancing industry, we want to hear from you!
Reporting to our National Head of Practice, the role will initially be hands-on, but as our business grows, you can build your own team of lawyers and conveyancers.

Key Responsibilities
This role offers a diverse range of exciting and impactful responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
Spearhead critical projects and high-value engagements, taking ownership from inception to completion.
Develop, refine, and standardise legal precedents and operational processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and support staff, fostering their professional development.
Implement a robust quality control system, including final sign-offs.
Facilitate clear communication channels between team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Conduct regular project status meetings and produce comprehensive progress reports for senior management.
Transactional Expertise
Serve as the go-to for overflow and complex conveyancing transactions.
Perform thorough contract reviews, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, ensuring all legal and commercial interests are protected.
Provide strategic advice on structuring transactions.
Stay abreast of changes in property law and conveyancing practices, assisting management with updating internal guidelines accordingly.
Compliance, Audit, and Quality Assurance
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement robust compliance frameworks.
Conduct regular audits of transactional processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations.
Perform quality assurance checks on a sample of completed transactions to maintain high standards.
Support the development and delivery of compliance and professional development training programs for staff at all levels of the business.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the business.
Identify areas for process optimisation and support cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
Engage with partners and customers to gather feedback and insights for service enhancement.
Research industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the firm at the forefront of legal service delivery.
Conceptualise and develop new service offerings to expand the firm's market reach.
Collaborate with the business development team to identify and pursue opportunities in new markets.
Implement data-driven decision-making processes to guide improvement initiatives.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
Present regular reports to senior management on the progress and impact of continuous improvement efforts.
Key Position Requirements
Successful applicants will demonstrate the following:
5+ years PAE in all aspects of property law and a current unrestricted practicing certificate.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a strong customer and stakeholder focus and work ethic.
Strong IT literacy, including an aptitude for learning (and becoming proficient in) the use of legal technology and IT applications.
Professional presentation.
Ability to multitask and manage several different tasks/jobs at once in an organised and coherent manner.
Great attention to detail.
Enthusiasm, confidence, energy, and positivity.
Whilst not essential, experience in other jurisdictions will be highly regarded.
