The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an experienced Property Law Legal Support/Admin Assistant with 3 years of experience to join our growing team in Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a team of property lawyers while gaining exposure to a variety of legal tasks and advancing your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Property Law Legal Support/Admin Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Providing administrative support to property law professionals, including solicitors and legal associates.Assisting with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, such as contracts, leases, and conveyancing paperwork.Organizing and maintaining client files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.Liaising with clients, real estate agents, and other professionals regarding property transactions and legal matters.Handling administrative tasks related to property transactions, including managing calendars, appointments, and deadlines.Assisting in the preparation of property settlements and managing the logistics of document signing and exchanges.Conducting basic legal research related to property law matters, including reviewing statutes and case law.Managing office correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and other communication related to property matters.Skills, Qualifications & ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you will need:
A legal studies qualification or experience in a legal environment is preferred.3 years experience in a legal or administrative support role, ideally within property law.Strong understanding of property law terminology, documents, and procedures.Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with clients and colleagues.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal practice management software.A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why Join Us?At Madison Marcus, we offer a range of benefits to support your career growth and personal well-being, including:
