The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a Senior Legal Assistant / Law Clerk with over 4 years of hands-on experience in property law to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong experience in property law and associated legal processes Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities autonomously A personable and professional approach to client and team interactions High proficiency in legal technology, including PEXA and Duties Online A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision The Role
In this pivotal role, you will be entrusted with:
Managing and maintaining client files and property transaction documentation Preparing legal documents, briefs, and correspondence Conducting property-related research and supporting solicitors on active matters Handling billing, trust management, and settlement files Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other key stakeholders to facilitate smooth property transactions Managing diaries, organising meetings, and coordinating schedules Opening and closing files and ensuring all necessary documents are filed accurately and in a timely manner Applicants must be proficient in using PEXA and Duties Online.
