Property Inspector - Cairns 6 Month Temporary role Mid-April Start date Government Opportunity The Client This Government Agency provides and regulates housing assistance and homeless services for those who are in need. They deliver, manage, construct, and maintain government assets, office accommodation, fleet and employee housing. The Opportunity We are looking to put on additional staff in the remote property inspection team. Initially 6 months with possibility of extension. Conduct audits/reviews on property condition data and condition appraisals. Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with stakeholders and customers. Maintain and update departmental information systems with the ability to use a variety of software and data applications. A critical requirement of the position is an understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander protocols and issues to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customers, councils and communities effectively and sensitively. Work in small teams to achieve expected outcomes while managing expectations in rural, remote and discrete locations About You A trade background is desirable, but anyone with property management experience is ideal.
