This role is ideal for someone with a passion for real estate data, trends, and news who can turn complex research into accessible, engaging content.
You'll drive Domain's digital property content on , collaborating closely with the editorial team to deliver compelling stories that attract readers.Success in this fast-paced newsroom role requires strong news sense, creativity, accuracy, and the ability to generate fresh ideas under tight deadlines.This position is also open to applicants based in MelbourneDay to day responsibilities include: Assign daily content tasks and oversee ongoing content projects.Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and aligned content strategy.Conduct sub-editing for quality and accuracy.Supervise and mentor an Associate Producer.Write and produce daily content, meeting tight and rolling deadlines.Upload and publish content via CMS.Identify and interview key talent for features.Meet and exceed audience targets.Amplify content across various platforms, including social media and Google Showcase.Utilise data and dashboards for content insights.Stay updated on media trends.Continuously upskill in emerging technologies.Develop and implement social media and SEO strategies in partnership with social and SEO teams.QualificationsWhat we would like to see on your resume: Proven years experience in media (digital, broadcast, print or radio)University degree in media related degree (desired)Ability to write fast, accurate copy and meet rolling deadlines under pressureStrong decision making capabilities in high pressure situationsStrong understanding of legal best practices Strong ability to interpret data and use dashboards to achieve business goalsFirst-hand experience with publishing in a CMS Strong grammar and research capabilities Proven track record in property led data driven contentA wide knowledge of real estate industry trends and content.
