About the RoleThis position will see you handling a wide range of property law matters while delivering exceptional client service. Your Responsibilities Managing residential, commercial, and off-the-plan conveyancing transactions.Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, and other property-related documents.Advising clients on a range of property matters, including purchases, sales, leasing, and property development.Conducting due diligence, including property searches, title reviews, and strata assessments.Handling mortgage-related matters, including preparing and advising on mortgage documents, refinancing, and liaising with lenders.Negotiating and advising on property finance arrangements.Managing settlements, including preparation of settlement statements and finalising transactions through PEXA.Advising on complex property law issues, such as easements, covenants, and land use disputes.Assisting clients with property disputes, including boundary disagreements and lease disputes.Advising on compliance with property development laws and regulations.About YouTo excel in this role, you will bring:
Admission as a solicitor in Queensland with at least 2-3 years' post-admission experience in property law.Proven experience managing conveyancing transactions from start to finish.Strong knowledge of Queensland property law, including residential, commercial, off-the-plan, and mortgage-related transactions.Experience in advising on mortgage documents and liaising with financial institutions.Proficiency in LEAP and PEXA software.The ability to work autonomously and manage a busy and varied workload effectively.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused, team-oriented approach.The BenefitsAt Jeff Horsey Solicitor, we genuinely value our team and offer:
