You will be a vital member of the Finance team responsible for the financial management and performance across a national portfolio of retail properties. You will be a proactive accountant in delivering a high standard of financial control, performance management reporting, business planning and analysis and double up as a business partner to the Client and internal stakeholders.The role is based in our JLL's corporate office in Melbourne CBD. Snapshot of the role: Assist in managing and building the annual budget, including preparation of calculations and analysis of income, expenses and capital expenditure Assist in managing and building the quarterly forecast, including preparation of calculations and analysis of income, expenses and capital expenditureMonth end accounting, including review and preparate of accruals Monthly analysis of income and expense variances to budget Provide support to the management team of the Centres to actively manage expenses in line with the property budget and forecast Monthly preparation of Capex Expenditure reportsPreparation of monthly Percentage rent calculations, Extended Trade calculations, Direct Recoveries and monthly capped occupancy costs Outgoing recovery calculations preparation and assisting with outgoings disputes Analysis, investigation and reporting on embedded networks Analysis and insights into Retailer sales, including trend analysis and benchmarking against industry and portfolioAssist with reconciliations of income and expenses, arrears and unallocated cash receipts Preparation of outgoing audit analysis and commentary, including preparing and reviewing statement of outgoings and Disclosure Statements. Ongoing identification and implementation of reporting, processes and control improvementsInterpretation and review of leases and the retail tenancies act in the relevant state/territory Sound like the job you are looking for?
