Projects & Stakeholder Engagement Manager Contract Duration: One year Hours: Full-time (76 hours fortnightly) Remuneration: $104,241.15 plus 11% super per annum (Level 6.1 SCHADS award) THE ORGANISATION The Australian Multicultural Health Collaborative (AMHC) is an initiative of the Federation of Ethnic Communities' Councils of Australia (FECCA), a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities across Australia.
With a commitment to inclusivity and diversity, AMHC operates at the national level to advocate for equitable health outcomes, facilitate research, and influence policy development tailored to the needs of Australia's multicultural society.
THE OPPORTUNITY As the Projects & Stakeholder Engagement Manager, your role is critical in orchestrating the strategic coordination and delivery of AMHC's projects, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of stakeholders while significantly benefiting CALD communities.
This position demands expert relationship management and program oversight to drive the successful execution of AMHC's initiatives, which encompass areas such as public health research, community engagement, and policy advocacy.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional project management to include managing contractors, fostering relationships with government and community organisations, and overseeing complex projects aimed at improving the health and well-being of CALD populations. This offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity to address the unique challenges faced by these communities, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.
ABOUT YOU You are exceptionally organised and adept at coordinating multifaceted projects, aligning them with the nuanced needs of CALD communities. Your strong relationship-building skills enable you to develop strategic partnerships across various sectors, including government and non-profit organisations. With a proactive and adaptable approach, you excel in dynamic settings, effortlessly navigating through diverse responsibilities to effect positive change.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of each project. Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring all milestones are achieved. Provide regular updates and reports to internal teams and external partners. Manage the evaluation and auditing of projects to measure success and impact. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across different sectors. Monitor and report on project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary. Implement and update risk management plans to mitigate potential issues. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE A degree in public health, project management, business administration, or related fields, complemented by relevant professional experience. Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. Experience in organising and facilitating community engagement events and workshops. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within small, multidisciplinary teams. Strong negotiation, troubleshooting, and conflict-resolution skills.
