The role Adbri Cement is seeking an experienced Projects Specialist to join the Cement & Lime division at Birkenhead, SA.
This exciting role involves leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of critical projects to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and successful outcomes.
The successful candidate will engage with internal and external stakeholders, manage project risks, and champion innovation and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities Develop and execute project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource identification.Proactively manage risks and implement mitigation strategies.Drive stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment and accountability.Monitor and report project performance, providing updates on status, challenges, and key metrics.Focus on sustainability by incorporating alternative fuels and materials into projects.Lead strategic sourcing, procurement, and contract management efforts.Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project outcomes.What you will need to succeed Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and qualifications.Proven expertise in project management, ideally within heavy industry.Strong mechanical and/or electrical background with a project-focused mindset.Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.A proactive approach to fostering innovation and continuous improvement.Our business Adbri Cement was formally known as Adelaide Brighton Cement.
