To continue to deliver for our customers and community, we have embarked on a number of transformative projects and are seeking a Project Officer to join our Strategic Projects Team. This newly created role reports to the Strategic Projects Director and will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive project support to the Strategic Projects Team to ensure the successful delivery of projects at Port Waratah.
This will include:
Develop and maintain project controls including project schedules, cost tracking and resource plans Document and record management of project documents, presentations and reports. Providing contract administration support including the review and preparation of contracts and tenders, and requests for information Progress reporting and general administration services What we are looking for:
Relevant qualifications in Project Management, Business Administration or similar Experience in a project support role in a heavy industrial environment Proficiency working in project management and document management software systems and databases Experience in document management, commercial contracts and tender processes Knowledge of budgeting principles, managing project finances and reporting Excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills For initial inquiries or assistance with your application, please call Adrian Button or Jaimie Nolan from Beilby Downing Teal on (02) 4044 0400.
