About the role:
The HSE Administrator (also known as Projects HSE Coordinator) role requires a responsible and enthusiastic professional to provide general administrative support to the Projects HSE Team. This role will include liaising with project leaders, maintaining databases of project status, ensuring approvals are in place within timeframes, and using and continuing to develop reporting tools.
Besides project related activities, this role will also support the wider HSE team by:
Assisting with claims management.
Booking medical examinations.
Coordinating and monitoring health & wellbeing programs.
Submitting purchase orders and invoices.
Supporting with any other general administrative tasks the team may need.
What you'll deliver:
Manage the governance of project registers.
Create online inductions in Altora including management admin for business off-site.
Provide support on monthly dashboard creations.
Assist with administration duties associated with claims management including processing remittances, payroll notifications.
Support with booking/scheduling of various Occupational Health Programs including audiometry, Cat 3 Rail Medical, Lead Medicals, HV Live Medicals, Pre-employment, etc.
Assist with running health monitoring programs including drug and alcohol testing, first aid, Defibrillator database, vaccination and noise monitoring program.
Process purchase orders / invoices and other administration duties.
To succeed in the role, you'll have:
Extensive work experience in a busy administrative role in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Knowledge or ability to learn and understand HSE management aspects associated with construction work and associated activities.
Tertiary qualification in business, health & safety, or relevant (advantageous).
