City of Parramatta have an exciting new permanent full-time opportunity working in our Integrated Grants and Projects team as a Project and Grants Coordinator.
About the role As the Projects and Grants Coordinator you will be responsible for leading the projects and grants administration team to drive project management improvements.
This role will lead the team of professionals to plan, improve and drive significant change and evaluate performance.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise the coordination and administration of grant and project reporting and approvals across the business.
Provide project support to the organisation including developing strategic business cases, training, grant identification and prioritisation.
Lead and manage major project and grant programs.
Guide and mentor staff to enable them to successfully support the team.
Interpret, present and communicate regular reports and other formal documents for relevant audiences.
Drive project management principles and practices.
About You We are looking for a leader with: Degree qualifications in project management, or relevant field.
Proven leadership skills in managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Demonstrated experience in project or grant management/ administration role in a complex organisation.
Proven ability to identify risks, issues and key project impediments and provide pragmatic solutions and mitigating options.
Expertise with project frameworks and strong quantitative and analytical skills to develop financial or operational models.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced problem-solving capabilities, coupled with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
What's on offer We are offering an attractive remuneration from $ 142,245 to $ 156,619 plus 11.5% superannuation.
