A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Perth projects team.To be successful in this role:Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical or Electronic) – BEng or EquivalentA minimum of 3 Years+ post trade industry experienceExperience working in power reticulation with high and low voltageBe knowledgeable in multi-disciplinary facets of construction with a strong focus on pumping, pipeline and power station installationsStrong technical knowledge and understandingUnderstanding and implementation of the Project Management CycleHigh level of communication, written and interpersonal skillsExperience with PowerCad-5 software (desirable)Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suiteYou will be responsible for:Project execution for design, product selection, product specification, client advice, technical queries, construction and assembly support and testing and commissioningSupport the project team to monitor the project program in respect to construction activitiesDevelop and foster effective and regular communication with the Project Team including suppliers and clientsReview tender bids and provide technical input to the design and product specification as well as pricing estimations in accordance with client and Australian StandardsReview, understand and enforce Client Specifications, Australian Standards and Local Regulations or GuidelinesAttend client meetings and participate in technical discussionsPerform quality inspections on product or system workmanship, design, installation and integrityReview client Scope of Works and execute technical deliverables such as design drawings, calculations, data sheets, equipment lists, material take-off list, bill of materials, subcontractor scopes, testing and commissioning plans, training packages, IOM manuals, specifications, functional descriptions, ITPs, test reports, technical reports and any other works deemed necessary for the project executionReview subcontractor workmanship and manage qualityIdentify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problemsProvide budget estimates for scope variations or small projectsUphold the values of the Company in day to day worksPractice safety in design and uphold safety practices in day to day worksTake personal accountability for own safety and comply with safety cultureWhat UON can offer you?A corporate Health Cover Plan exclusive to UON employeesCareer development opportunities working with some of the best in the industryA fun, active social clubFortnightly paymentOpportunities for growthOnly those with the unrestricted right to work in Australia will be considered.
