Projects Controller - Environmental ServicesExciting projects across Australia into 2024 and beyond.About the role:With the company showing continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Projects Controller to join our Environmental Services customer stream to ensure timely and accurate preparation and maintenance of project schedules in both tendering and execution phases. This role is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Head Office in Dry Creek, but flexible work arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Analyse and interpret project information and prepare schedules and programs for optimum project delivery.Regularly monitor project progress and update schedules in conjunction with Project Team. Communicate any changes to project managers, contractors, and subcontractors in a timely and effective manner.Provide key dates, milestones, interdependencies, work breakdown structure and schedule critical path management.Produce earned value forecasts and report on same weekly with project team.Compile and analyse data related to project schedules, resource allocation, and progress. Use this data to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.About you:To be successful, we are looking for:A degree or diploma qualified in Construction Management, Engineering, Business or related degree.Multi-year experience in demolition/construction industry and using active involvement in project controls.Competency in project management suite of software (e.g., Microsoft professional suite, Primavera 6), ERP systems (e.g., Pronto) and project management platforms (e.g., InEight, Aconex, Procore).Proficient reporting skills (both in writing and presenting).Firm understanding of the best practice scheduling.Strong safety focus and knowledge.Excellent communication and numeracy skills.Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 4 weeks ahead and weekly reporting against cost and time.A team player, flexible and adaptable to changing needs and demands.Someone persistent, motivated and driven, good at time management and adherence to agreed costs, schedules and timeframes.Hold a construction safety card.What we offer:Full-time position with attractive remuneration, including access to weekly pay, Employee Assistance Program as well as the opportunity for additional training and career growth.About us:McMahon Services is one of Australia's largest privately-owned construction, industrial and environmental services organisations.
