We operate in critical infrastructure environments such as airports, defence, retail centres, healthcare, rail, transport, logistics.
We have a team of 270 dedicated professionals that deliver maintenance services & minor works projects for Fire, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Building Services.
About the Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Projects and Minor-Works Plumbing Supervisor to join our Asset Services team based at Hendra.
As a Plumbing Supervisor you will: Coordinate all site activities under the guidance of the Project Manager.
Be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of projects on critical infrastructure for key Queensland clients.
Provide outstanding customer service and technical solutions to key clients, whilst ensuring a high level of communication.
Maintain regular communication with your team members.
Forward planning and scheduling of works.
Be fluent in reading and assessing construction drawings and coordinating works with principal contractors.
Lead, develop and manage the accountability for a team of plumbers and apprentices.
Oversee the workflow onsite and resolve site issues.
Ensure work is completed within given time frames.
Assist Management with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standards.
Promote a workplace culture of positive and quality performance.
Proactively build and maintain working relationships with clients.
About you Are you the person CV needs?
If you can answer yes to the points below, you just might be!
Current Queensland Plumbing Licence.
Construction White Card.
Current C class Drivers' Licence (manual).
High Risk Work Licence, including EWP and Scissor (desirable).
Backflow and TMV endorsements (desirable).
Gas Licence (desirable).
Demonstrated experience in major and minor-works projects.
Complete and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening.
Have a firm understanding of QLD plumbing codes and Australian Standards.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Dedicated commitment to regulations and safe work practices.
Motivated to work autonomously and within a team environment, playing an active role within the broader team.
As you will be working in secure and sensitive environments, you mustalso be able to obtain a current police check/clearance.
