Due to our continued growth and focus on building and growing capability, we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Manager Business & Project Development, the Business Development Manager will grow the pipeline of opportunities through business development activities, focused on precious, base metals and critical minerals within Eastern Australia.
In this client facing role, you will be accountable for: Identifying project opportunities through the development and maintenance of new and existing client relationships. Develop and maintain client engagement and feedback frameworks, to assess project opportunities based on client feedback to optimise business performance and ensure profitability. Assess potential opportunities in connection with leadership and recommend the allocation of financial and human resources for turning these opportunities into achieved revenue. Provide regional support in preparing estimates and proposals, participating in both reviews and development of recommendations including coordinating and writing of proposal documents. Develop and implement market research methods and indicators to identify major prospects to assist in the overall forward planning of the group. Coordinate activities to support the marketing plan and business development activities, review performance against the plan, and take corrective action on major deviations from the plan. Liaise with business and project development managers, providing marketing intelligence and coordinating the corporate and department plans for each market segment. You are an experienced leader demonstrating the following qualities: 10 years' of marketing and business development experience in delivering services on projects in resource sector. You have built an impressive portfolio of business development successes within a recognised engineering services firm delivering mining engineering services on projects. Relationship builder.You are a collaborator and pride yourself on the relationships you have built to deliver high quality outcomes. Engaging and effective communicator.You excel in planning and delivering quality reports, proposals, and bids. Strong business and commercial acumen.You are driven and client focused with established networks across multiple commodities.
