The Role & The Team In this key role, you will drive the strategic planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of high-impact competency-based training solutions for Airservices air traffic controllers, supervisors, and support staff.
Your leadership will guide the safe and successful transition of these teams to the new CMATS operational environment, ensuring alignment with CASA and Airservices regulatory frameworks.
This leadership role requires deep expertise in aviation training management, regulatory compliance, and operational transformation. You will drive high-impact training solutions for Airservices' air traffic controllers, supervisors, and support staff, ensuring a smooth transition to the new CMATS operational environment while adhering to CASA and Airservices regulatory frameworks. Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills are essential to align with the broader operational goals of the OneSKY Australia Program, playing a key role in shaping the future of air traffic management.
To be successful in this role you will have: Significant demonstrated experience in strategic training leadership within complex, regulated environments, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale, high-stakes projects under pressure.Deep understanding of aviation training regulations (CASR Parts 65, 143, 172) and competency-based training models, with experience in their application in an operational service delivery environment.Expert-level Executive stakeholder management and influencing skills, with proven significant experience engaging and collaborating with senior leaders, government officials, and operational staff.Significant demonstrated experience managing training and operational change initiatives within complex, high-pressure environments.Significant demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.Security Clearance To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident as an Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance is required for this role.
