Project Technician - Radio Communication

With a strong heritage, they are now expanding their reach in Queensland and are looking for an experienced Project Technician, specialising in radio communications  to join their team.
Your new role  As the Project Technician, you'll be a key member of the Project Engineering team.
You'll be working closely with a tier 1 mining business and be part of the end to end implementation, configuration, installation, FAT/Staging/SAT, training and field commissioning project.
Translate customer ideas and requirements into proposals and designs Design technically sound and reliable communication solutions Implement quality solutions, from design phase to build and commissioning stage Configuration, programming, installation, FAT, SAT and staging/commissioning of systems Technical support including remote, field and on-call activities About you  Proven technical competency in DMR Tier II or Tier III systems, P25, Tetra or analogue  Proven knowledge and understanding of RF, antenna types, radiation patterns, etc.
Demonstrable experience in wireless and radio technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Valid drivers licence and full working rights  Applicant must be willing and able to travel interstate or internationally, as required.
