This role will see you plan and manage tailings design studies and support analyses and provide technical support to junior engineers as part of multi-disciplinary project teams on local, regional and international consulting assignments.

What you'll do:
Prepare technical deliverables with support from senior engineers.
Plan and manage geotechnical site investigations and construction projects.
This could include activities such as: Construction quality assurance (CQA) on TSF-related construction projects.
Field investigations (CPTu, test pitting, borehole drilling, etc.)
under the guidance of senior engineers.
Intermittent travel (both regionally and nationally) where required to undertake ad hoc project related site visits or inspections.
Identify safety hazards (both office-based and site-based) and report OH&S incidents.
Work with and provide support to members of the team as required.
Develop and maintain effective client relationships and generate consulting business.
Provide input to project management, budgeting, and quality control for tailings, mine waste, heap leach and similar assignments.
Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
About You
Bachelor Qualification in Civil/Mining Engineering or similar.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiasm for fieldwork with practical experience.
Reliable and committed to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment.
Good attention to detail and time management ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
