With our continued growth, we are looking for talented Project Support Officers (PSOs) to join our Canberra team, supporting our Major Service Projects (MSP) Division.

The opportunity We have a range of different opportunities for PSOs in our Canberra Team, supporting a wide variety of Defence projects.
As such, we will work with you to target the area that is of greatest interest to yourself and most beneficial to your future career with QinetiQ.
We will also assist you with your transition into the role, and developing your skills as a Junior Project Manager through mentoring and targeted professional development.

As a PSO , your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of correspondence, briefings, submissions and reports Coordination and scheduling of a range of project activities Working with external stakeholders to minimise impact to the project delivery schedule Analysis of project performance against agreed plans and developing and initiating strategies to achieve project outcomes Analysis of project plans and artefacts to ensure compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks To be successful in the position of PSO, you will need to bring with you:
Previous experience in Project Coordination or Project Support (ideal) Relevant qualifications in Project Management or related discipline The ability to build strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders and effective communication skills A passion for learning and the ability to prioritise and multi-task while working independently or in a team Strong attention to detail along with demonstrated planning and organisational skills Due to the nature of these roles, applicants must be eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
