Our IT infrastructure is provided under a Memorandum of Understanding with Department of Employment and Workplace Relations.We are currently seeking a highly self-motivated and experienced APS5 to undertake the role of a Project Support Officer within the Technology Engagement Services team (TES). The TES team provides the core operational services and support to ensure business needs are understood, considered and actioned accordingly. Our core functions include branch change and communications management; advice, strategy and planning; procurement and finance and program and project management services and support.Typical DutiesThe Project Support Officer will support the delivery of operational services and the functions of the Technology Engagement Services (TES) team and will be expected to have an understanding of project management knowledge areas such as risk and issues management, quality management, benefits management, stakeholder management, contract management, project reporting, project budget forecasting and reporting.The Project Support Officer will be delivering the functional and operational services of the TES Business Hub stream which delivers business advice, input into strategic initiatives including ICT investments, stakeholder relationship management and planning.The position may be required to provide support to other staff across the Technology branch establishing processes and procedures to support other operational services including but not limited to: recruitment, procurement and change and release management.Please note: travel may be required as part of this role.What we are looking forUnder limited direction, the key capabilities/skills for the role include:#J-18808-Ljbffr
