Clinical Outsourcing and Auditing Program are looking for a Project Officer to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide support to the Assistant Director of Nursing in the Clinical Outsourcing and Auditing Program for outpatient and elective surgery services data requests. You will be responsible for managing patient level database/s to coordinate, record and report the transfers of patients under public and private contracts.

About the Role Support the ADON Clinical Outsourcing and Auditing Program in the development and implementation of projects, processes and business planning for COAP.Under direction of the Assistant Director of Nursing COAP, operationally responsible for the coordination, documentation and reporting associated with the safe and complete patient transfer of identified long wait outpatients to other facilities within and outside of Metro South Health.Exercise judgement to solve immediate problems when precedents have not been set, analyse issues, establish a course of action and adopt a proactive attitude with minimum direction.Develop procedural guidelines within scope of position to increase efficiency and actively participate in review of processes for implementation of continual improvement.Find out about the role in more detail and how to apply in the attached Role Description.
