As the Project Support Officer you will support project planning and implement activities as directed by assisting with deployment plans, undertake site infrastructure audits, research to source information and collect data and tracking of action items as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with QPS values.
Follow defined service quality standards and occupational health and safety policies to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Assist and support in the planning and completion of project deliverables and timelines including quotations, procurement, cost recovery processes, asset tracking, travel arrangements, budget forecasting, web content, written reports, and correspondence.
Resolve day-to-day operational issues regarding procedures and assist with the review of work practices to maintain high professional work standards while seeking ways for ongoing improvement.
Implement, maintain, and monitor effective and efficient administrative processes for the unit to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
Develop and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships with team members and stakeholders while working autonomously using sound judgment and initiative.
Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, self-direction, and independence by prioritising tasks and ensuring work targets are achieved within designated timeframes with limited supervision and contribute to team goals in a changing environment.

The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following capabilities, knowledge, and experience:
Knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies.
Experience in financial aspects of projects such as preparing quotations, forecasting, purchasing, payment of allowances, arranging travel, and recovering payment from customers.
High level ability to identify opportunities for improvement using an innovative approach with strong customer focus.
High level communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships with team members and liaise effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders.
Proven capacity to work both autonomously and as a member of a team, ability to cope in a high-volume environment, consistently meet deadlines, and adapt to change using initiative, organisation and planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
High level written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare high quality documents including reports, data sets, and presentations.
High level organisational skills with the ability to provide Secretariat functions as required.
Advanced skills in the use of Service Now, CMDB, Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio to prepare reports, presentations, collate data, and analyse information.
