As our Project Support Officer, you will:
Support the delivery of communication, marketing and media in accordance with the National Fire Ant Eradication Program's and Queensland Government policies and procedures.Assist with the preparation and implementation of relevant documentation including communication and marketing material to ensure efficient and effective delivery of key projects.Maintain effective project and administrative support including planning, procurement, ordering relevant equipment and supplies, and paying invoices and budget tracking.Adhere to procedures and processes in relation to procurement, human resource and financial practices.Liaise with staff from other business areas and agencies to ensure all communication, marketing and media objectives are fulfilled.Use time management skills effectively to manage competing priorities and exercise appropriate judgement in a busy work environment.Ability to work some weekends and outside standard working hours as required.You may also have: An interest or qualification in communications, marketing and media.General experience in administration, including procurement, marketing and basic financial reporting.Familiarity with design software and technologies such as Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, etc.We are seeking the best suited candidate for the role.
