Join a dedicated team in supporting land strategy initiatives with precision and careTemporary full-time opportunity to June 2026Office location – Various NSW locations considered upon applicationSalary relative to experience and ranges from $93,295.00 to $102,941.00 + superThe role The Project Support Officer Aboriginal Land Strategy plays a crucial role in supporting various projects related to land dealings and the implementation of Indigenous Land Use Agreements (ILUAs).
This involves conducting research, analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks to ensure projects are delivered effectively.
Key responsibilities of the role include monitoring project plans, updating documentation and maintaining knowledge of relevant legislation to support culturally appropriate and compliant project delivery.
In this role, you'll be challenged with managing multiple project support activities in a high-pressure, politically sensitive environment, and working with conflicting objectives.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring all processes comply with the Native Title Act 1993 and the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983 are essential for the successful coordination and achievement of project goals.
