Project Supervisor

What are you going to doThe Mining Construction Project Supervisor will be responsible for managing the construction of a mining project in a FIFO 8:6 roster.
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will act as a liaison between contractor and head office stakeholders, and will be responsible for team-based and field/area inspection.Key responsibilities include:Ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standardsProviding technical expertise and guidance to the teamChampioning health and safety on site, and ensuring that all work is carried out in compliance with the company's policies and proceduresInspection and Test Plan monitoringRegular reporting to the Project Manager and head office stakeholdersEssential skills and knowledgeRequirements:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role in the mining industryBackground in civils, piping, and infrastructureExperience working on FIFO 8:6 rostersAbility to act as a liaison between contractor and head office stakeholdersStrong communication and leadership skillsChampion for health and safety on siteExperience with inspection and test plan monitoringAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesYou must have current right to work and be based in Australia to be considered for this roleBenefits:Up to $1050 per day - rate dependent on experienceFIFO 8:6 rosterSalary sacrificingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Corporate discounts
