Natural Resources & Water (Mining, Resources & Energy) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights The purpose of the TasWater Capital Delivery Office (CDO) is to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of quality capital works projects for TasWater that will meet the needs of TasWater's business, their stakeholders and the communities of Tasmania for years to come. The TasWater CDO manages the TasWater Capital Works Program from inception to completion including the planning, design, procurement, and delivery phases. We are on the lookout for individuals who will contribute to the development and delivery of our upcoming long term TasWater CDO projects.About the RoleUGL are looking for an experienced Project Supervisor to work on our Regional Towns Water Supply Improvement Program (Stage 4) Project. TasWater has committed to the removal of Public Health Alerts (PHA) as part of an overall improvement in water quality compliance. This has resulted in significant capital works programs including the 24 Glasses Program and Regional Towns Water Supply Improvement program (RTWSIP). Stage 4 of the RTWSIP is to improve compliance at the remaining 7 towns: Fentonbury, Ellendale, St Marys, Tullah, Dover, Oatlands and Bothwell.Works are focused on existing Water Treatment Plants that require upgrades or a review of alternate options, including increased treated water storage which will provide improved quality and supply to meet the needs of the Tasmanian community.This project focuses on the improvement of water quality, more reliable water supply and increased treated water capacity for current and future community needs in regional Tasmanian towns.This is a fixed term contract to June 2026. The position will be based out of Hobart with the requirement to travel to sites across the state.What will a day look like in this roleProviding appropriate and relevant information to Project Managers ensuring projects will be delivered safely, on time, within cost and to the required level of quality;Ensuring subcontracts act safety and comply with safety requirements;Attending project work sites to check that all required technical standards and contract requirements are being met; andMaintaining records in relevant project management databases and information systems so that all required information is correctly captured and readily available.What would we expect you to bring to the teamYou will have previous experience as a Project Supervisor within the water/wastewater industry;You will have advanced knowledge of managing a team, Control Systems and be comfortable as the subject matter expert on site;You will be able to build relationships and rapport with stakeholders at all levels; andExcellent team management & organisational ability.
