As the Project Specialist, you will facilitate the cross-functional delivery of project initiatives for the Jetstar customer and commercial functions from idea to implementation.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Customer Insights and Strategic Projects, and working alongside Project Managers, you will be responsible for supporting the co-ordination and delivery of project milestones and objectives against agreed business case, timeframes and KPIs, ensuring that all aspects of change management at a Group and Airline level are achieved.
Key responsibilities of this role include: Deliver assigned project responsibilities, on time, on budget and to specificationDisseminate key status reports and steering committee/executive updatesBuild financial models, project implementation plans, presentations and other communications as requiredManage and escalate project risk as required and according to Qantas Group Risk FrameworkDocument and organise all project related materials and ensure compliance with all required laws and company policies in the conduct of all projectsModel and analyse financial scenarios to determine the benefits and costs related to proposed strategies and projectsDefine and write business rules and requirementsConsultatively develop budgets, targets and appropriate KPIs and establish and manage project data reportsLead discovery workshops, early collaboration with stakeholders and define problem statements/solutionsExperience: Previous Project management experience including risk and change management capabilityExperience with international based stakeholdersMS Office software, particularly Excel, and PowerpointExperience with Smartsheet & Confluence software preferredFormal Project Management accreditations such as PMBOK or Prince2 qualifications desirableAbout UsThe Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
