Project Services Supervisor

Our Client, a world leading Tier 1 Iron Ore Producer with multiple mining operations in the Pilbara is currently seeking a Project Services Supervisor to join their Development Technology team.
Job DetailsThis will be a fast-paced role so it demands the attention of someone who can think on their feet.
This will be based in the Perth CBD and is a Monday to Friday role, working 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:Effective Team manager - issues managed, team meetings held - working within everyday respect guidelinesTeam Member Development - current gap analysis of work of team and capabilities - and ensuring the link through to the employee development plansCoaching of team members to ensure the team are being effective in the delivery of their rolesProactive management of Development Plan - team and selfMonitoring and improvement of all procedures within the PS teamWorking together with the Logistics team to ensure a joint understanding of the service delivery across both teams and ongoing communication and distribution of knowledgeDelivery of adhoc allocated tasks, both within your current role and within any working groups of which you are a team memberOngoing management of manning forecasting in relation to Seating for RT ProjectsBuilding Management - as and when requiredProactive approach to HSEEffective overseeing of the onboarding of new EPCM's/EPC'sProactive approach to all tasks identified in your JD to ensure completion to a high standard within the given timeframesEnsuring firm understanding within RT Projects of the service provided by PS and where required the wider Project Services GroupContinuous improvement - proactively look for opportunities to recommend and manage implementation of improvements within the Project Support Team, this will include the team and supervisor rolesBe curious about learning opportunities which should include collaboration with all groups with RT Projects to ensure there is an appreciation of how all the areas work togetherEffective team management to ensure that the wider business is provided with an expert service and the RT Project group is aware of the service provisionExperience:Previous Supervisory experience in a similar Mining Project Services role is essentialPatient, empathetic and able to listen to people's concernsCan review the processes and make improvements where necessaryAble to review the current process and has a strong understanding of how a project worksPrevious Mobilisations knowledge is preferredAble to build rapport quickly and easily with personnel on all levelsIf you meet these requirements and are ready to take on a career progressing role, we encourage you to apply.
