The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring all activities are aligned with project milestones and deadlines. The successful candidate will work closely with the project teams to track progress, identify critical path items, and provide regular updates to key stakeholders and leadership. The role will be based in our offices in North Sydney and will report to the Project Director.Role Responsibilities:Create, maintain, and support master project schedules in collaboration with the Project Controls Manager, covering all phases from design to commissioning and operational handover. Ensure that scheduling updates and adjustments reflect the overall project objectives and timelines.Support the creation of the procurement plan in conjunction with Engineering and Procurement teams.Develop detailed milestone plans, daily productivity reports, and conduct in-depth critical path analysis to identify potential scheduling conflicts. Work with the Project Controls Manager to mitigate scheduling risks and optimize resource allocation.Regularly monitor and update project schedules to reflect changes in scope, resources, timelines, and priorities.Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources effectively.Evaluate and anticipate potential scheduling risks, providing early warnings to the Project Controls Manager. Collaborate with the team to develop contingency plans, ensuring that risks are effectively managed and schedules remain aligned with project objectives.Facilitate communication among internal and external stakeholders regarding project scheduling updates.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of project schedules by conducting regular audits and validations.Provide regular progress reports and schedule performance updates to the Project Controls Manager and senior leadership. Participate in weekly project review meetings to ensure alignment between schedule updates and broader project goals.Identify opportunities for improvement to reduce cost, increase productivity, and improve quality.Minimum Requirements:3-5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in renewable energy projects, power plants, or large-scale infrastructure projects.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.Proven experience working in a project environment, working on projects at various stages and values.Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project).Experience in integrating scheduling software with cost tracking, progress monitoring, and Earned Value Management (EVM) systems to support comprehensive project controls.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile) and industry scheduling standards.Professional certifications such as PMI-SP (Scheduling Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are highly desirable.Evidence of ongoing professional and personal development.Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Commitment to continuous improvement in scheduling processes.If you are highly organized, have solid experience in project scheduling for large-scale projects, and are passionate about renewable energy innovation, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey.
