Sydney CBD Location 6 to 12 month contract with possibility for extension $850 - $900 per day including super About the role: Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler for a 12-month contract.
This is a key role supporting a high-impact project involving separation, migration, or integration activities.
As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and management of project schedules across separation, migration, and integration initiatives.
You will work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate scheduling and timely delivery of project milestones.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for separation, migration, or integration programs.
Coordinate with project managers and team leads to ensure the schedule aligns with project timelines and objectives.
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing priorities or delays.
Identify and mitigate scheduling risks, ensuring potential issues are flagged early.
Prepare regular reports on project progress, key milestones, and risks for senior leadership.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on timelines.
Ensure adherence to project governance and compliance requirements.
About you: Experience as a Project Scheduler, preferably with exposure to separation, migration, or integration projects.
Strong knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Financial services experience is a plus.
