Role: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Scheduler to join our team and support the successful planning and execution of our projects. As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure projects are on track and delivered on time. Your expertise in scheduling tools and techniques will help ensure efficient resource allocation and project success. The role will be based in our South East offices either Mount Gambier or Beachport.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations.Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes in scope, timelines, and resources.Analyse schedule data to identify potential delays or bottlenecks and propose corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate scheduling and reporting.Prepare regular reports on project status, highlighting schedule performance, risks, and opportunities.Assist in resource planning and allocation based on project needs and timelines.Ensure project schedules comply with contractual requirements and company standards.Required Proven experience as a Project Scheduler in engineering, construction, or related industries.Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar tools.Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in scheduling and reporting.Advantageous: Professional certification in project management or scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent).Trade based background, preferably in ElectricalKnowledge of risk management and critical path analysis.Experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.Familiarity with project cost control and budgeting.Strong knowledge of contract management and project compliance.We offer a collaborative team environment both within and outside of the workplace.We provide an attractive remuneration package paid on a weekly basis, which includes paid overtime with penalties, along with additional project-specific allowances and compensation for work away from home.At RJE, we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer individual flexibility arrangements.We cover travel expenses if you are required to work away from home.Overtime hours can be banked for time off in lieu, allowing for extended paid holidays.You will have access to an extensive benefits and discounts program, offering everyday savings at over 600 retailers.We provide accommodation and cover meal expenses when working away from home.We offer comprehensive Training and Development programs to enhance and broaden your skill set.
