Project Scheduler

Job Description Location :  Canberra Requirement :  Must be able  obtain a Security Clearance if required.
Key duties may include, but are not limited to:  • Provide support for the development of integrated schedules for small-scale projects and programs.
• Liaise with stakeholders across work streams to inform design, development and implementation of schedules • Support relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Assist with routine reporting cycles update schedules to ensure accurate sequencing, alignment of dependencies, and progress against deliverables and milestones.
• Identify and help resolve scheduling issues to support the delivery of outcomes.
• Contribute to the effectiveness of streamlined team processes and continuous improvement.
• Perform research and analysis on project schedules and contribute to the preparation of reports.
• Contribute to providing support and scheduling knowledge to stakeholders.
• Exercise appropriate delegations in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
Requirements Mandatory Requirements: • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing scheduling activities across large-scale projects and programs.
• Demonstrated experience capturing and monitoring the relationship between dependencies, and ensure target milestones are realistic, achievable, and on track Weighted Criteria:   • Demonstrated experience operating with a considerable degree of independence, working under the broad direction of senior staff • Demonstrated experience providing scheduling expertise for highly technical and complex schedules that aligns to and meets business objectives • Knowledge or experience with Services Australia portfolio, programme and project management methodologies, frameworks and practices.
