About the role:Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will work closely with the Project and Program Management team to schedule and forward plan city assets and projects. You will be accountable for assembling and monitoring a comprehensive MS Project Chart for council assets and projects.Programs will include:Parks and other recreationCivil – Roads, Footpaths, Drainage, etcRoad Rehab Grant funded ProgramsContribution Funder ProgramsCapital ProgramsRecurrent ProgramsYou will be responsible for monitoring and scheduling Project and Program timelines, expenditure and resource Demand.Key Responsibilities:To be successful in this position you will be an experienced project scheduler and will have experience in city assets and civil infrastructure.Manage project schedules including critical paths, milestones, baselines and forecasts, estimates / actuals data and dependencies, presenting such data and status in a coherent format to a range of audiences, Project Control Groups and Project staff on a weekly basis.Work with Project teams, SMEs and consultants to document work breakdown structures, resource requirements and interdependencies.Manage project risks and issues data and registers with project team members.Monitor project costs against budget and report identified budget creep in status reporting.Ensure project documentation, activities are maintained in line with the Project schedule and Document management requirements.Promote continuous improvement and innovation in practices, optimization of technology, procedures and recommendations with the aim of providing better service to the client base in line with the organization's values.Key Skill:Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline such as project management, engineering, business administration and / or equivalent knowledge or experience.Experience with MS Projects is essential for this role.If you meet the above criteria and are looking for your next contract opportunity please apply via the appropriate link with a CV attached.For a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity please contact Paul Cullen on 0403 242 600.
