Location: 100% remote (Brisbane/Sydney office access beneficial).

You will be joining the Powering Skills Organisation (PSO), a forward-thinking entity dedicated to addressing workforce challenges in the energy industry, including electricity, renewables, and gas.

Benefits to Successful applicant: Flexible working arrangements: 100% remote with potential for occasional travel Pro-rated salary: $80k-$90k per annum (based on hours and contract duration) Gain hands-on experience in a national workforce research project Collaborate closely with industry leaders and expert stakeholders Build your research, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills Opportunity to influence critical workforce initiatives in a high-impact sector Duties & Responsibilities: Support the design and execution of research studies across the energy sector Collect, analyse, and interpret workforce data to uncover actionable insights Assist in preparing technical reports, study summaries, and project updates Engage with stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate workshops (online and in-person) Present research findings to internal teams and external partners Manage project documentation with accuracy and attention to detail Stay informed about workforce trends and contribute ideas for innovative initiatives We are looking for someone with: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills Confident, proactive, and comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders Experience with survey creation tools and research methods Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to flexible workloads Interest in workforce development, the energy sector, or education research This is a fantastic opportunity for a university graduate or mature student with a passion for research and making an impact in the energy sector.
