Your role: The OneSKY Project Quality Assurance Manager is focused on assuring that the supplied processes are in accordance with the requirements of the customer and the Thales Group, as well as with statutory regulations.
Specific quality assurance activities within the operational process areas of responsibility will include projects, acquisition, and heavy involvement in solution, software, and hardware engineering processes.
Some key responsibilities include: Check that the technical and non-technical requirements of the Customer are understood and managed efficiently by all members of the project team.Check that the deliverables comply with the Customer's requirements and with the applicable regulations and standards.Support project team to ensure objectives/criteria for each of the engineering project gates are achieved.Support the project teams in applying processes, identifying risks, and resolving problems.Adjust project Quality Assurance actions to focus on the risks, considering the maturity of the project team, with a proactive approach.One day one you will come with: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project or Work Package Management.Understanding of systems and software development principles and lifecycles.Demonstrated ability in applying quality assurance principles in delivery of products and services, ideally within a project-based organisation.Strategic influencing skills including the ability to promote improvement at all levels and across all areas of the organisation.Diplomacy skills including the ability to withstand pressures and say 'no' to other managers when quality is insufficient or processes are not being adhered to.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to understand and critique requirements.Excellent communication skills including written and verbal English skills, the ability to prepare and present reports to a range of audiences.It's easy to dismiss the perfect opportunity if you don't see yourself as the perfect fit.
