About the role : WorkPac are seeking an experienced Project Planner for our leading client in Perth. This role will report to the Superintendent Project Controls and provide planning support for the Integrated Schedule (IS) within the Integrated Scheduling and Planning division. The Planner will be expected to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders and form relationships with those they support. Key D uties and R esponsibilities : Preparation of requests for schedule updates : c onfirm assumptions and activity dependencies represent the projects value chain and e nsure taxonomy and naming maintained. Collection of updated schedule information from MS Project, P6, Excel, Power BI and Powerpoint. Ingestion of the collected schedule information into P6. Alignment of the ingested schedule information. Publishing of the schedule. Reporting the schedule information to various stakeholders : Includes critical paths and u nderstanding stakeholder reporting requirements. Running and communicating scenarios for impact assessments. Resource loading and levelling select activities. Engage with stakeholders as required to maintain IS insightfulness. Be proactive and bold to raise areas of concern to the Specialist Project Controls and Project Lead/Manager to avoid surprises. Skills and E xperience : Proficient in Primavera P6 project management and scheduling software. Relevant site construction experience, certification, diploma or degree acceptable to a recognised and relevant professional body. Professional certification or planned pathway to professional certification with a relevant professional body. 5+ years of experience in project controls delivery. 5+ years of overall professional experience, preferably in mining or large-scale studies within a matrix organisation.
