Workfast is currently seeking a Project Planner for our client in Gladstone. Our client is one of Queensland's largest family-owned industrial infrastructure groups.Your Responsibilities:Responsible for project Cost Forecasting, Scheduling/Planning, Progress Measurement & Reporting, Change Management, and Risk Management facilitation.Develop the Work Breakdown Structure and Cost Breakdown Structure for control and requirements as defined by the contract and execution plan.Develop an integrated Procurement, Fabrication, and Installation cost and schedule program, including reporting.Develop and maintain a progress measurement system applicable to the project.Analyse cost and schedule data and recommend solutions or recovery plans for impacts or delays.Monitor the status of risks, opportunities, cost, and progress trends.Regularly interface with Management and Clients.Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and adherence to internal controls and procedures.About You:Practical experience with job cost management and scheduling systems, along with a strong understanding of associated practices and policies.Construction experience and planning acumen.Ability to proactively identify and solve complex problems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Database management.Ability to multitask and manage tight deadlines with mental agility.High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills.Demonstrated business partnering skills with the ability to influence across the organisation.Adaptability and the ability to contribute in varying and complex environments.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Commitment to embracing and promoting the client's values and culture, including diversity, inclusion, and a healthy, safe work environment.If you are interested, please hit apply now!
