Tasks & Duties Managing technical rope access projects to enable project execution in relation to IRATA Standards as well as Australian WHS. Lead teams effectively to develop objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of organizations' resources at project and client engagement levels. Identify, provide knowledge and creative inputs into business improvements and to implement measures to improve service delivery and client engagement during projects and day-to-day client engagements. Provide technical and professional leadership and support for internal projects across multiple time zones and a variety of cultures. Apply project management principles and procedures in daily operations, physical control as well as administrative control via Daily Reports & Time Sheets and other documentation submitted by Team Leaders in support of project objectives and milestones. Managing staff, monitoring project requirements in relation to suppliers and logistics, discussing current systems with staff and observing systems at all levels of the organization. Apply hands-on management and supervision for rope access projects and any potential rescue scenarios for each project; ability to understand and implement the content of safety and methodology statements including thorough knowledge of hazards identification and risk assessment and methods of site management. Provide effective leadership through communication at all levels and with internal and external stakeholders, including rope access teams, rope access safety requirements/methodology as required for individual project specifications and manage/oversee day-to-day running of the operations. Qualifications and Education Requirements Tertiary or vocational qualifications preferred but not mandatory. 1-2 years experience in Projects & Operations Manager or similar role. Preferred Skills Extensive experience and competence to supervise rope access projects and any potential rescue scenarios for each project; ability to understand and implement the content of safety and methodology statements including thorough knowledge of hazards identification and risk assessment and methods of site management. Wide experience in managing technical rope access projects to enable project execution in relation to IRATA Standards as well as Australian WHS. Extensive team building, motivation, and leadership skills in accordance with AA people values in order to develop objectives, strategies and plans aimed at achieving customer satisfaction and the efficient use of organizations' resources. Ability to identify and implement business improvements as well as discussing business and organizational shortcomings with clients. Extensive project management, daily operations, physical control as well as administrative control via Daily Reports & Time Sheets and other documentation submitted by Team Leaders and summarized by admin staff. Ability to communicate at all levels including rope access teams, rope access safety requirements/methodology as required for individual project specifications and manage/oversee day-to-day running of the operations.
