About the role:
As a newly created role within CDC's largest team, the Operations team, the Project & Operations Coordinator will support the coordination and management of operational projects across CDC's portfolio.
This hands-on position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
Support reporting, forecasting, budget control, procurement, and program updates
Coordinate project admin activities, including tender documentation, approvals, and contracts
Maintain accurate project dashboards and manage changes, access, and freight tickets
Attend client meetings, take minutes, follow up on actions, and ensure smooth project closeouts
Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Adhere to confidentiality, health, and safety policies
Assist with handover documentation and project finalisation
About you:
This role is perfect for someone with project coordination experience in a project-based position, ideally within data centres, electrical, mechanical, or HVAC industries. CDC's fast-paced and rapidly growing environment is best suited to those with a background in managing large, complex projects.
Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proven problem-solving abilities
Skilled in interpreting drawings, architectural plans, and specifications
Proficient in administration, cost control, and vendor management
Knowledge of quality and health and safety control systems
Experience with MS Project is preferred
Essential:
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
