About the role:
As a newly created role within CDC's largest team, the Operations team, the Project & Operations Coordinator will support the coordination and management of operational projects across CDC's portfolio.This hands-on position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Accountabilities:
Support reporting, forecasting, budget control, procurement, and program updatesCoordinate project admin activities, including tender documentation, approvals, and contractsMaintain accurate project dashboards and manage changes, access, and freight ticketsAttend client meetings, take minutes, follow up on actions, and ensure smooth project closeoutsBuild strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholdersAdhere to confidentiality, health, and safety policiesAssist with handover documentation and project finalisation
About you:
This role is perfect for someone with project coordination experience in a project-based position, ideally within data centres, electrical, mechanical, or HVAC industries. CDC's fast-paced and rapidly growing environment is best suited to those with a background in managing large, complex projects.
Strong written, interpersonal, and communication skillsProven problem-solving abilitiesSkilled in interpreting drawings, architectural plans, and specificationsProficient in administration, cost control, and vendor managementKnowledge of quality and health and safety control systemsExperience with MS Project is preferred
Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
