The Timely Emergency Care 2 (TEC2) program is delivered in partnership with multiple other Victorian health services, the Department of Health and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and this position will play a key role in leading the GV Health program.
The Project Officer – TEC2 reports to the Clinical Project General Manager in the Clinical Operations directorate.
The role will support a program of work around improving patient access and flow as well as actively supporting GV Health in implementing and developing expertise and a culture that supports continuous improvement.
The Project Officer TEC2 will be key in working closely with the Project Lead TEC2, Clinical Project General Manager and TEC2 Clinical Leads to ensure the TEC2 initiative is supported with the appropriate data, tools, and methodology.
We are looking for:
Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business or Clinical Discipline (Nursing/Allied Health with membership to professional association)At least 3 years' clinical experience working within a healthcare environment.Experience in working in clinical projects or change initiatives (not necessarily as a project lead)Demonstrates a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care and quality serviceStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh level organization skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to develop rapport and relationships with clinical staff from a variety of disciplinesInterested in the use of evidence/data to drive decisions that support change initiativesSelf-motivated and able to work under pressure both independently and within a teamIf qualifications are a requirement for this position, please attach a copy in support of your application.
