Job Description APS4/5 Project Officer Approximate 6-month contract with possibility of extension | Canberra Location | APS4: $50.24 -$53.56 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation | APS5: $55.40 - $59.20 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation | Negative Vetting 1 clearance required OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Project Officer to join their team at the APS4/5 level.
Within this role you will play a crucial role in supporting project administration and ensuring the effective delivery of our projects and services.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive administrative support to project teams, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of activities.
Experience with designing and producing engaging infographics to support project presentations, reports, and marketing materials.
Contribute to the development and execution of a range of project-related documents for key stakeholders as required, including discussion papers, reports, communication plans, training and change management documentation to manage the flow of information and successful adoption of new systems and processes.
Support the management of the Division's workflow of security requests through the intake process of the Front Door SharePoint site.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Proven experience in project administration or a similar role.
Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
Proficiency in creating infographics and other visual aids.
Demonstrated ability to engage and manage stakeholders effectively.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A positive solution and service delivery focused attitude, with an attention to detail and ability to meet tight and multiple deadlines.
